Meet Ronald C. Crosby, Jr., Esquire
Ron Crosby was a former Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG) attorney and federal prosecutor. As a former military counsel and special assistant U.S. attorney, he possesses the knowledge and dedication to fight for the rights of service members and civilians alike.
With detailed and practical experience, Attorney Crosby is prepared to represent individuals in the Fayetteville area, including Fort Liberty and Pope AFB.
Attorney Ron Crosby attended secondary school in Fayetteville and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1993. Upon graduating from UNC, he entered Wake Forest University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor in 1997.
He began practicing law as a member of the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, where he served as a military officer for six years. During that time, he practiced in various areas, including prosecution, defense, and civil litigation, as well as serving as a special assistant U.S. attorney. Following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, he was deployed to Southwest Asia, where he established the first defense office to support the military personnel assigned to Afghanistan and other parts of the region. During his time in the military, he garnered various awards and decorations and was honorably discharged in 2003.
In 2004, Attorney Crosby established Crosby Legal PLLC (formerly The Crosby Law Firm), in Fayetteville, NC. The firm is a general practice office that specializes in criminal litigation. Over the past ten years, the firm has remained dedicated to serving the citizens and soldiers of Fayetteville, Fort Liberty and the surrounding communities. Our military lawyers are happy to help.
In addition to his duties with the firm, Attorney Crosby serves on several boards, including the Fayetteville Technical Community College Board of Trustees, Lawyers Mutual Community Board, and the Fayetteville Area Minority Lawyers Association.
